So after stealing this idea from ar12 gaming, I thought we could create a thread called guess the track.

Rules: no internet, just your mind. If you get the track correct, we move on to the next track. And I may continue to add pics in the thread

That curlicue first corner brings to mind Shanghai but the corners after it don’t seem to match my memory of the track.

I feel like sector 1 at Shanghai and Sepang are the same. Shanghai is straighter after turn 2.

They are both Tilke designed tracks along with Bahrain which also has a very similar T1 and T2 complex.

Bahrain is sort of similar. Yes the first turn is a hairpin, but then it straightens almost immediately

It’s a lot less severe but it is still the same concept of a sharp right hander followed immediately by a left to put you onto a straightish bit.

You have no idea how many simulated laps I have done at Road Atlanta. Easily my most driven track.

You have no idea how many simulated laps I’ve done of that track as I live twenty minutes from that track. Also done some mountain bike races on and inside the perimeter of the track. Easily my favorite track
